JAW MOTION IMPORT MODULE

Please have a look how to transfer patient’s bite to an Exocad project. With the help of these tools we are able to design the highest quality work.
The Jaw Motion Import module allows you to import jaw movement registration data from external devices such as the JMA system from Zebris.

The Zebris JMA measuring system for contact-free recording of all the lower jaw, functions using a new type of ultrasonic sensor technology measuring in the proximity of the joint.
The measuring range comprises all necessary parameters for the adjustment of mechanical and virtual articulators. Thus, it seamlessly integrates in the workflow of digital dental practices and laboratories.
The add-on module works in combination with the Auto Articulator Module.

The zebris JMTracker+ and JMAnalyser+ jaw registration systems record all degrees of the lower jaw’s
mobility contact-free through a method which measures the travel time of ultrasound impulses.
The measuring systems are comprised of a face bow with integrated receiver modules and an optimally
balanced lower jaw sensor. They win through their simple operation and compact dimensions.
The face bow can be put on in just a few simple steps. Time-consuming adjustments no longer need
to be carried out to fi t the device to the patient’s head. The lower jaw sensor is fi xed to the paraocclusal lower jaw attachment by means of a magnetic holder.

The scope of measuring enables functional, analytical examinations, the determination of a neuromuscular jaw relation, as well as the issuance of the adjustment parameters of mechanical and virtual articulators. The systems contain an XML export for transmission
of individual movement data to CAD/CAM systems. Assignment of the exported data to the tooth surface
data collected via the model or intraoral scanners is made via a patented bite fork.
Transmission of the maxilla model position to mechanical articulators is executed through the zebris transfer panel. Consequently, use of a mechanical face bow is no longer required.

What’s more, the JMAnalyser+ is equipped with four analog channels, thus making it suitable for EMG
analysis of muscle function. The optionally available 4-channel EMG module enables the analysis of muscle action potentials through bipolar
skin surface electrodes. The system enables functional tests of the anterior temporalis and masseter muscle groups.
Conduction occurs on both sides via electrode cables with integrated measuring amplifi ers. EMG activity is detected precisely and reliably without any cable artefacts.

Your benefits at a glance:

  • Movement registration of the lower jaw function
  • Functional and digital occlusal Analysis
  • Determination of the maxillary position – a mechanical facebow is no longer required
  • Determination of the adjustment parameters of mechanical and virtual articulators
  • Determination of a neuromuscular jaw relation
  • The electronic position analysis (EPA)
  • Interfaces to CAD/CAM systems (Exocad)
